NOTICE: These terms form a legally binding agreement. Continued use of the app confirms your acceptance.
Platform Status: LiteJobs (operated by SetLiteWeb) is a digital communication channel and "Matching Platform." We are not an employment agency, recruiter, or labor broker under the Kenya Employment Act (2007).
1. Nature of the Facilitation

LiteJobs provides the technical infrastructure to connect community members. We do not participate in, supervise, or control the hiring, interviewing, or selection process. Any engagement formed through the platform is a direct private contract between the User and the Client.

2. No Employment Relationship

LiteJobs is not an employer. Users are independent individuals. LiteJobs does not provide tools, uniforms, insurance, or instructions on how tasks should be completed. You are solely responsible for your own safety and tax compliance.

3. User Obligations
  • Accuracy: You must provide truthful profile information.
  • Conduct: Harassment, illegal activities, or bypassing platform security is strictly prohibited.
  • Payments: LiteJobs does not handle wage payments. Financial settlements are strictly between users.
4. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY & NEGLIGENCE
NO LIABILITY FOR NEGLIGENCE: To the maximum extent permitted by Kenyan law, LiteJobs, SetLiteWeb, and its founders shall NOT be liable for any direct, indirect, or incidental damages, injuries, or losses whatsoever.

This exclusion applies to losses arising from negligence, misconduct of other users, property damage, theft, or physical harm that may occur during or after an interaction initiated on the platform.

AS-IS SERVICE: We provide the platform "as-is" without any warranty of safety or reliability. You assume 100% of the risk when meeting or engaging with community members.

Privacy Policy

Effective: March 15, 2026

Compliance: This policy is aligned with the Kenya Data Protection Act (2019).
1. Information We Collect
  • Hyperlocal Location: Collected via our Geo-module to facilitate matching within a 3km radius.
  • Identity Data: Name, phone number, and profile images used to build trust.
  • Communication: In-app interactions to maintain community standards.
2. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Your contact details are only shared with another user when you explicitly initiate a "Connect" or "Apply" action.

3. Your Data Rights (ODPC Kenya)

In accordance with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner, you have the right to:

  • Erasure: Delete your account and all associated data via app settings.
  • Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Restriction: Opt-out of location tracking at any time (though this will limit matching).
4. Security

We implement technical measures to secure your data. Users are advised against using the app on "rooted" or "jailbroken" devices which compromise security protocols.
